ONE ACT HISTORY

• The Forsyth Central Stage has a long and rich history of quality and challenging theatre. Established by the first director, Mrs. Yatesy Harvey in the late 80’s, the program has changed, evolved and grown as a major component of the community. Following her retirement in 2011, the program continued to flourish thanks to creative, inspired, and professional directors that continued striving for excellence in educational theatre.”

*Only once has the State Best Actor award been given to the entire male acting ensemble as it was to the cast of Boys Next Door in 1996. The judges said that the ensemble was so good, they couldn't give it to just one actor.
